Hello everyone!
Until my wedding on October 16, 2010, I invite all of you to join my fiancé Matt and me as we journey together on our way to the altar. Read about our struggles, joys, plans, details and all that jazz that goes into planning a wedding and the rest of our lives together.
Feel free to drop me a line and comment/offer suggestions!
Enjoy!

Can we expect an audio slide show posted on the new and improved Catholic Herald web site? Especially now that you've got a (fairly) new Marantz audio recorder in your office

Best wishes to you! I'm also a member of the catholic press and i'm getting married next year - had to pick our date around a non-production week, but at least my fiance understands.
it's going to be fun following your journey online.

Spend more time on vocation

My humble advice is for you and your fiancé is this: spend more time determining how you will truly be good spouses to one another in the vocation (calling) of sacramental marriage than you do on the actual wedding ceremony, reception, and honeymoon. Yes, the day is extremely important, but it's just that - a day. What you and Matt work on (yourselves individually and together as a couple) will be the foundation for, as you said, "the rest of [y]our lives together," both here and, God willing, in Heaven.

Do yourself a favor and don't pray for patience. I speak from personal experience that when you do that God gives you stuff that you need patience for. Meanwhile God's blessings on you both and may God grant you Peace.
