Pastoral Associate whose responsibilities are

two-pronged: Pastoral Care
and Adult Enrichment. Pastoral Care

responsibilities include
working with the Pastoral Care Coordinator

and Parish Nurse in
connecting with and supporting the sick and frail

members of the parish. Adult
Enrichment responsibilities include

working with the adult
enrichment commission to provide a variety of

educational programs and
other spiritual opportunities for adults to

grow in their faith. The
Pastoral Associate reports directly to the pastor

and communicates with the
respective councils and commissions

of the parish.

Start Date: July 1, 2012

Qualifications: Applicants
should have an MA in Theology or Pastoral

Studies (or equivalent). At
least three years of parish experience are

preferred. Applicants should
also have good listening skills and a

compassionate heart for the
sick and grieving.

Join a dedicated team serving this bi-lingual, multi-site
south-side parish. The Director of Liturgy and Music will coordinate all areas
of liturgical ministry and preparation for this growing parish. Functioning in
coordination with the pastor and other members of the pastoral team, the
Director of Liturgy and Music has responsibilities which include provision of
music for all worship services, supervision of supporting musicians, planning
for the liturgical seasons, coordination of the Spiritual Life and Worship
committee, training of all liturgical ministries, development of the parish
music program, etc. Knowledge of the liturgy and mission of the Catholic
Church, proficient keyboard and vocal skills, bi-lingual skills in Spanish and
English, good communication and organizational skills, Bachelor’s Degree in
music and/or liturgical theology (or equivalent) are required. Previous

DIRECTOR OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

We are excitedly seeking an enthusiastic, faith-filled practicing
Catholic to direct our newly forming religious education program for our youth,
grades K-12 and adults. To begin, it will be a year round, part-time position,
averaging approximately 25 hours per week, with the possibility of growing to
full-time. Basic responsibilities for our culturally unified program will
include, but not be limited to, coordinating faith education programs and youth
events, curriculum development and sacramental preparation. Preferred
requirements include a Bachelor’s degree with knowledge of theology, scripture,
educational methods and practices. Candidates must also have strong organizational
and computer skills, and have or be willing to work for advanced certification
in religion. Ability to communicate in Spanish will also be a plus.
